Treat your body as if you are already pregnant
As you may have heard me say many times before, you are already carrying all the genetic material that has the potential to become your future child. In fact research shows that the environment in which your eggs and sperm develop, can have a greater impact not only on your ability to conceive but also on the long-term health of your child. So if you’re serious about getting pregnant this year, treat your body as if you already are!
- Nourish your future child with wholefoods
- Energise your future child with daily exercise
- Provide for your future child with the right blend of essential nutrients in a good prenatal supplement.
Be kind to your yourself and your future child
Remove any blame
Finding fault or placing blame either on yourself or anyone else will not undo or solve the problem. It in fact it will only hinder your progress. Focusing on the negative, prevents you moving forward. There may be aspects of you fertility you cannot change, focus on what you can.
Stress has a significant impact on your ability to conceive, much more than most people realise or a willing to recognise. A healthy amount of stress keeps us energised and motivated, beyond that it can be extremely detrimental to our health and fertility.
This has been the buzz word of 2016, but will good reason. Find out more about how you can use mindfulness to improve your fertility here.
Be grateful and appreciative
Appreciate all of all the good things you already have in your life. During our fertility struggles we can often focus so much on what we don’t have that we forget to love and appreciate everything that we already do. This New Year, remind yourself of all the good things you already have in your life, write them down if you life just find a way to love, value, appreciate and enjoy them!
Most of all relax and enjoy life!
