Professor Marie Caudill received her PhD degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Florida in 1997. Shorty thereafter she became and Assistant Professor in the Department of Human Nutrition and Food Sciences at Cal Poly Pomona University in Southern California where she served for 10 years. Professor Caudill joined the Division of Nutritional Sciences at Cornell University in August 2007 as an Associate Professor of Human and Molecular Nutrition and was promoted to full Professor in May 2012.
Professor Caudill is internationally recognized for her work on folate and choline and the intake levels of these nutrients required to promote human health. She has published over 100 papers, reviews or chapters in this area and is frequently an invited speaker on topics related to methyl nutrients, one carbon metabolism and nutritional genonomics.
